Lackey Ranch is a registered Brangus and Santa Gertrudis operation with land being located in DeWitt, Goliad, Karnes and Bee County. Lackey Ranch was established in the late 1800’s and originates from land purchased by the family in New Davy, Texas just 8 miles north of Yorktown Texas on Highway 119. Over the years it has grown and expanded through the purchase of land in the surrounding counties. Lackey Ranch takes great pride in having the Santa Gertrudis herd #10 originally established years ago by Vachel Lackey. The cattle herd and land was then passed on to his granddaughter Page Saunders. Page continues to raise Santa Gertrudis cattle on the majority of Lackey Ranch.

On the registered Brangus side of our operation is a great group of cattle being raised by Dr. Larry Franke, Briana Franke and their three daughters Abigail, Madeleine and Gabriella, known as Las Tres Hermanas. Our Brangus operation continues to grow each year. We look forward to and are excited about continuing to offer herd bulls for purchase and replacement heifers to come in the near future.
